Otto, MD, Orthopedic Institute at Saint Francis, the Center for Joint Replacement offers unprecedented total joint care and an outstanding patient experience.

• Comprehensive education that starts before patients meet with their surgeon (during community education seminars). Education continues through a presurgery class, postoperative therapy, a discharge class and return home. • Families and loved ones involved throughout the entire process: during preoperative education and through rehabilitation, acting as the patient's personal "coach"
• Completion of rehabilitation and eating meals both individually and in a group setting, encouraging and motivating patients to reach their full potential as they recover
• Ongoing communication from the Medical Center from presurgery, through the patient's stay and after the return home. These materials keep them informed about next steps, daily schedules and other information, so patients know what to expect at each stage of the process
