Concussion Clinic

Concussions are serious business for young athletes. A concussion is a brain injury that is caused by a blow to the head and affects the way the brain functions. Left untreated, a concussion can pose serious health risks, even death. That is why Saint Francis Medical Center has developed a Concussion Clinic that specializes in early follow-up and recovery management. The clinic is led by neurologist Andrew Godbey, MD, MPH and physiatrist Heidi J. Hunter, MD.
