Franklin Hayward II, DO, neurosurgeon at Saint Francis Medical Center, with a team of expert panel of physicians and clinical staff, will hold a free seminar on conservative approaches to treating back and neck pain July 14 at 6 pm in the Saint Francis Conference Center at the Medical Center.
Neck and back pain is one of the most common reasons people see a physician and the most prevalent chronic pain condition. It can keep people from the activities they enjoy and limit work capabilities, and many struggle with finding adequate relief.
Some of the treatment options include physical therapy, exercise, chiropractic care, oral pain medications and therapeutic injections. Joining Hayward at the event will be chiropractic physician Aaron Andrews, DC; Saint Francis physiatrist Im Sun Hong, MD; Saint Francis physical therapist Todd Wasilewski, PT, Cert. MDT; and assistant manager of the Saint Francis Pain Management Center Rhonda Robert, RN. Together, they will give those who suffer from neck and back pain insight on how to manage it.
Refreshments will be served. For more information or to register, call 573-331-5877 or email jstreiler@sfmc.net.
