More than 45 million Americans suffer from headaches every year. While common, there are many causes of headaches, often having a unique set of symptoms and requiring different treatment approaches. Robert E. Gardner Jr., MD, neurologist at Saint Francis Medical Center, will hold a free seminar about headaches August 19 at 6 pm in the Saint Francis Conference Center.
He will discuss common causes of headaches, their symptoms and treatments, and if and when you should seek consultation with a specialist. Gardner will cover common headache types, including tension, migraine and sinus headaches, and other less-frequent causes of headaches, including hormones, allergies and stress.
