Saint Francis Medical Center is pleased to welcome Sara A. Meyer, MD, to Cape Care for Women. She joins four other physicians and two nurse practitioners specializing in obstetrics and gynecology at this trusted practice in Cape Girardeau.
Meyer’s specific medical interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, colposcopy and cervical pathology, and complicated obstetrics. “I enjoy growing with my patients and their families after helping to manage pregnancies for 10 months,” says Meyer. She is also passionate about educating her patients — keeping women enlightened and proactive about their overall health and wellness.
Meyer, who was born and raised in Ste. Genevieve, obtained her medical degree and completed her residency in obstetrics, gynecology and women’s health at the Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center in St. Louis. She knew she wanted to stay in the area and practice medicine and is glad to have that opportunity at Cape Care for Women.
