Cardiologist Joins Saint Francis Medical Partners
Saint Francis Medical Center welcomes Duc T. Nguyen, DO, as a new Medical Partner and member of Cape Cardiology Group, where he joins Paul H. Holcomb Jr., MD, FACC, FSCAI
; William K. LaFoe, MD, FACC, FSCAI
; and Clifford R. Talbert, Jr., MD, FACC. His expertise will greatly enhance this new Cape Girardeau practice.
Nguyen’s clinical interests include complex peripheral and coronary intervention, catheter-based treatment of structural heart disease and device therapy (pacemakers/defibrillators) for arrhythmia. He helps to prevent coronary and peripheral artery disease, heart failure and enjoys clinical research.
Nguyen received his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Mo. He completed his internal medicine residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Mo., his cardiology fellowship at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and his interventional cardiology fellowship at Midwestern University in Chicago, Ill.
