Saint Francis Healthcare System has added two members to its executive team. Teri Kreitzer, director of Human Resources, and Diane Smith, chief information officer, have joined Steven C. Bjelich, FACHE-D, President and Chief Executive Officer; vice presidents Tony Balsano, Marilyn Curtis, Jeannie Fadler, Dr. James Schell and Barbara W. Thompson; and Rick Essner, director of Environmental Engineering, on the Medical Center’s leadership team.
Smith joined the Saint Francis Family in October of 1973 and Kreitzer began in July 1990. Their collective longevity and outstanding service to the Medical Center are invaluable.
Saint Francis’ executive team meets weekly to implement the strategic operations of the Healthcare System. Additionally, the team meets monthly at an off-site day long meeting to examine and discuss long term issues that require more discussion time than is possible in a weekly meeting.
“These additions to the executive team recognize the Healthcare System’s growth and will help us better embrace and understand the dynamics of human resources and information systems,” says Bjelich. “Clearly, these two areas will continue to have significant impact on our growth and success.”
