The Saint Francis Medical Center Foundation and Auxiliary are now accepting applications for the 2010 Healthcare Scholarship Program, which annually awards 22 $1,000 scholarships for the next academic year. Applicants must have successfully completed one year of an accredited healthcare program and have at least a 2.5 grade point average. In addition, all applicants must submit a copy of a recent college transcript and a completed application to the Foundation by 4:30 pm on June 4, 2010.
Saint Francis Medical Center Vice President – Development and Administrative Services Wayne Smith and Saint Francis Auxiliary president Mary Spell serve as co-chairs of the scholarship committee, which is comprised of representatives from the Auxiliary, Foundation, administration and human resources departments.
