Take time to take care of yourself at Saint Francis Medical Center’s third RENEW (Refresh. Energize. Nurture. Exhale. Work out.) event on Wednesday, May 4, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. This free event will be held in the Saint Francis Conference Center and is an evening dedicated to celebrating women, education and the latest in breast health.
RENEW is designed to teach women to better manage stress in their daily lives, help them relax, and learn about how to maintain overall health and wellness. Activities will include tours of the newly expanded Saint Francis Womancare; a discussion of breast health with Jessica H. Lemmons, MD, FACOG, obstetrician/gynecologist at Saint Francis; and a talk on women’s health resources with Trinka Hileman, RN, BSN, MBA, director of Womancare. The event also will include some “me time,” where wine, cheese and chair massages will be available. Door prizes and giveaways will be given to those in attendance.
