Saint Francis Medical Center proudly announces its newest physician practice partner, Cape Spine & Neurosurgery. Brandon J. Scott, DO, leads the newly formed practice.
Cape Spine & Neurosurgery provides diagnosis of and surgical interventions for complicated disorders of the brain, spine and nerves. Some of the neurological conditions treated include spinal stenosis, head and back trauma, lumbar disc disease, herniated discs and vertebral fractures.
Scott finds working with patients with spinal problems especially rewarding because he can help those who once dealt with chronic or debilitating pain find relief and return to their normal activities.
In his free time, he enjoys fishing, camping, hiking and spending time with his fiancée.
Scott earned his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Mo. He completed residencies in neurological surgery at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, which included one year at Saint Francis and an internship at Grandview Medical Center.
Cape Spine & Neurosurgery opens August 2 and is at 3250 Gordonville Road, Suite 450. If you or a loved one faces neurological problems that require surgery, talk with your neurologist or primary care physician about a referral to Cape Spine & Neurosurgery or call 573-331-5677.
Saint Francis Medical Center is located at 211 Saint Francis Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO. For more information call 573-331-3000.
