Sleeve Gastrectomy
In this procedure, a thin, vertical sleeve of stomach is created and the rest of the stomach is removed. This limits the amount of food you can eat and helps you feel full sooner.
Gastric Banding
A reversible procedure, adjustable gastric banding reduces the
stomach’s capacity and restricts the amount of food it can consume, without cutting or stapling. This option helps patients lose weight by making them feel full faster and longer.
Roux-En-Y Gastric Bypass
In this procedure, a small portion of the stomach is sewn or stapled together to make a small pouch (roughly the size of an egg) to limit food intake. It also bypasses part of the intestines to reduce calorie absorption.

Anesthesia
Surgical suite
The surgical suite contains two cystoscopy rooms and 15 operating rooms, including two dedicated to open-heart surgery, one to endovascular care and one to da Vinci surgery.
Sterile processing
Sterile processing prepares surgical instruments, assembles surgical trays and prepares case carts for surgical procedures.
Same Day Services
Same Day Services offers a high level of care to patients whose surgeries/procedures do not require an overnight stay in the Medical Center. Transportation is provided for all Same Day Services patients if needed.
Post-anesthesia care unit
The Post-anesthesia care unit cares for postoperative patients and assists the intensive care unit when there is an overflow of patients.
