CPR Heartsaver Adult/Child/Infant

The CPR Heartsaver Adult/Child/Infant course teaches adult/child/infant CPR, choking and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). The course contains updated content and science from the 2010 American Heart Association guidelines for CPR and ECC. After successful completion, the student will receive a Heartsaver card.

Target Audience

Generally, for those with limited or no medical training who need credentialing in CPR.

Saint Francis Medical Center employees required to take this class are: CNAs, APs (Heart Hospital and ICU), social service, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, clinical nurse managers, directors, managers, assistant managers, case managers, van drivers, arrhythmia technicians, operating room technicians, Fitness Plus staff, phlebotomists, NA transporters, neurophysiology and Womancare radiology technicians.

Cost

$30; no charge for Saint Francis employees.

Note: Infant only – $10

Refer to Irene Reynolds if wanting only infant.
