Knee, Hip, Shoulder Clinic Moves to Tuesday Mornings

Beginning May 6, Saint Francis Medical Center's Knee, Hip, Shoulder Clinic will take place on Tuesday mornings, from 8 to 11 am, rather than on Tuesday afternoons, as it did before.

This weekly, walk-in joint clinic led by Jimmy D. Bowen, MD, FAAPMR, CSCS, will continue to take place on the second floor of Saint Francis' Health and Wellness Center. During the Clinic, Bowen diagnoses injuries and get patients on the road to recovery quickly. Walk-ins are welcome to this clinic and a physician referral is not required.

The Knee, Hip, Shoulder Clinic is ideal for athletes; weekend warriors; and anyone who has injured a knee, hip or shoulder. Specializing in joint care and rehabilitation – and certified as a strength and conditioning specialist – Bowen offers patients a complete evaluation of joint pain and can manage and expedite care. Treatment options may include medication, physical therapy, further diagnostics or other interventions. Bowen works with patients' primary care physicians and involves other specialists as needed to provide a comprehensive care plan.
