Saint Francis Medical Center's Cancer Institute, affiliated with M. D. Anderson Physicians Network® and approved to offer the M. D. Anderson Cancer Manager® program, provides various means of support for cancer patients, including:

Breast Cancer Support Groups
Breast Cancer Support Groups are open to breast cancer patients, their spouses, families and friends to provide information and assistance.
Cancer Navigator

The cancer navigator is available to:

  • help you navigate through your cancer care
  • assist in seeking financial solutions
  • provide information on cancer services at Saint Francis Medical Center and within the surrounding area
  • direct you to healthcare services for further diagnosis and treatment
  • provide educational information regarding local resources and support available

I Can Cope
The I Can Cope program is offered through Saint Francis Medical Center and the American Cancer Society. The program gives participants an opportunity to share their concerns with others having similar experiences and to design ways to cope with the challenges that arise from a cancer diagnosis. Monthly guest speakers include professionals in the field of cancer management. In addition, videotapes, print materials and class discussions provide up-to-date information for patients, families and friends.
