Outpatient Care Center
Saint Francis Medical Center's Outpatient Care Center is the only 24-hour outpatient facility in the area providing patients with a comfortable, convenient treatment environment. Comprehensive services available through the Outpatient Care Center include:
- Antibiotic therapy
- Anticoagulant therapy
- Arthritis therapy
- Blood transfusions, packed red blood cells, platelets and factor therapy
- Biotherapy
- Cancer care
- Chemotherapy
- Clinical treatment trials through the St. Louis/Cape Girardeau Community Clinical Oncology Program
- Colony stimulation factors, including erythropoietin, Neupogen® and Leukine®
- Congestive heart failure maintenance therapy, including Dobutrex®and Primacor® infusions
- Coordination of care with referring physician outside the area
- Crohn's treatment
- Hepatitis C therapy
- Hormonal therapy and Lupron® injections
- Hydration fluids for obstetrics, dehydration and after therapeutic phlebotomy
- IV catheter and implanted port maintenance
- Infectious disease specialty clinic
- Intravenous infusion and injection therapies
- Intravenous immunoglobulin
- Iron infusions
- Steroid infusions
- Vitamin B-12
The Outpatient Care Center is located at 14 Doctors Park, Suite A. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm. Patients requiring after-hours care will be accommodated.
