Saint Francis Medical Center provides patients and visitors with various services and amenities to make their experience as pleasurable as possible, including: ATMS (automatic teller machines) are available for your convenience in the front of the cafeteria (near the main lobby) and in the Healing Arts Center. Beauty shop services were established at Saint Francis Medical Center in 1969. Volunteers pamper patients on an appointment basis every Tuesday and Friday from 8:30 am-12 pm.
Saint Francis Medical Center offers a wide selection of meals and snacks to visitors on campus, including:
- Cafeteria: Located near the main lobby of the Medical Center, the cafeteria serves visitors daily 6:30-10 am, 11 am-1:35 pm and 4:30-7:05 pm. Gift cards are also available for purchase.
- Garden View Deli: Located on the main floor of the Healing Arts Center, the deli offers a beautiful view of the Healing Garden and is open weekdays 7:30 am-5 pm.
- Deli Plus: Located in the Health and Wellness Center, Deli Plus offers Starbucks Coffee and features tasty selections low in calories, sodium, cholesterol and saturated fat. Hours of operation are 5 am-10 pm, Monday-Thursday; 5 am-9 pm, Friday; 7 am-6 pm, Saturday; and 10 am-6 pm, Sunday.
- Vending machines: Vending machines are available 24 hours a day throughout the Medical Center.
Saint Francis Medical Center features two gift shops for the convenience of patients and visitors. An assortment of merchandise is available, including:

- Enesco's "Foundations" angels
- Candles from Village and Old Virginia
- Camille Beckman skin care products
- Special holiday selections
- Candy
- Gift cards
- Baby gifts
- Picture frames
- Teapots
- Wind chimes

- Plush toys, including an extension line of TY products
Main Lobby Gift Shop hours are 9 am-6 pm Monday-Friday and noon-5 pm Saturday and Sunday. Healing Arts Gift Shop hours are 9 am-4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
The gift shops are run through the Saint Francis Auxiliary, and all profits are used to help support patient care services. Gift cards are also available for purchase.

Located between Saint Francis Medical Center and the Healing Arts Center, the Healing Garden is decorated with fountains, paths, plants and flowers, offering a quiet place for rest and reflection. A notary service is available to patients free of charge. Ask a member of your patient care team to arrange for this service. Please remember that some form of identification is required.

To make certain patients remain satisfied, Saint Francis takes measures to ensure it delivers the best care and services possible, including monthly discussions among a committee of representatives from various departments throughout the Medical Center.
Saint Francis also measures patient satisfaction through Press Ganey Associates, Inc. patient opinion surveys. Patients discharged from the Medical Center receive an opinion survey asking about the services utilized while at Saint Francis. The completed and returned surveys are sent to Press Ganey, a national leader in healthcare satisfaction measurement.
Press Ganey compares the Medical Center's patient satisfaction scores against nearly 900 hospitals nationwide that voluntarily participate in the patient opinion surveys. Saint Francis routinely ranks in the 98th percentile for patient satisfaction, which means the Medical Center is in the top 2 percent of hospitals nationwide.
Saint Francis also voluntarily participates in surveys conducted by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, which has accredited hospitals across the country for quality care practices for more than 50 years. Its accreditation is a nationwide seal of approval that indicates a hospital meets high performance standards. This accreditation helps hospitals improve their performance, raise the level of patient care and demonstrate accountability in the rapidly changing healthcare marketplace. Saint Francis Medical Center's general visiting hours are 8 am-8 pm, seven days a week. Intensive care unit visiting hours are variable depending on the condition of the patient.
