Safe Sitter Courses

Safe Sitter is a medically accurate, hands-on class that teaches boys and girls ages 11 to 13 how to handle emergencies when caring for children.

Safe Sitters learn:

  • What to do when a child chokes
  • Safety for the sitter
  • How to call for emergency help
  • Babysitting business skills
  • Basic child care skills
  • How to entertain children and keep them safe

Young children cannot always communicate their needs to protect themselves. The babysitter must be able to handle whatever situation arises.

Materials and lunch are provided, however, children may bring money for snacks
