- Citrus fruits
- Onions and garlic
- Spicy foods
- Fatty foods like cheese, nuts, avocados and steaks
- Carbonated drinks
You do not necessarily need to avoid these foods for the rest of your life, but try taking them out of your diet and then slowly reintroducing them in small amounts. “It might be easiest to keep a food diary to see which foods are your worst triggers,” says Adjovu.
