Enlarged prostate (BPH) and erectile dysfunction (ED), two of the most common men’s health issues, will be the focus of a free seminar presented by Vincenzo Galati, DO, FACS, urologist at Saint Francis Medical Center.
Galati will discuss symptoms and treatment options for these conditions September 18 at Isle Casino Cape Girardeau beginning at 6 pm. Food and beverages will be provided.
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a condition in which a man’s prostate gland grows larger, causing urinary and bladder problems. BPH is the most common disorder of the prostate gland. In severe cases it can block the flow of urine and even lead to kidney failure. Erectile dysfunction affects 40 percent of men in their 40s and 70 percent of men in their 70s. In some cases, it may be a sign of a major medical problem such as diabetes or heart disease.
The seminar is free and open to the public, but space is limited. Please call 573-331-3996 to reserve your seat.
