Other Treatments for AIDS
For Managing HIV-related Cancers
are at increased risk of developing certain
cancers. Recommended cancer treatments will depend on the type of cancer.
Treatments may include:
- Highly active anti-retroviral therapy (HAART)—to suppress the HIV virus and restore immune function
Radiation therapy—to treat cancers related to HIV/AIDS
Chemotherapy—to treat cancers related to HIV/AIDS
cancer-related anemia, wasting, bleeding, and
