BLS (Healthcare Provider)

The BLS for Healthcare Providers course covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction and automated external defibrillation. After successful completion the student will receive a HCP card.

Target Audience

First time healthcare providers, such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses and respiratory therapists who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course.

SFMC employees required to take this course for the first time: RN’s, LPN’s, CNA’s that work on Pediatrics, OB, NICU or PACU, Respiratory Therapists, healthcare providers in radiology and sports medicine who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course.

Cost

$60; $45 for nursing students; no charge for Saint Francis employees
