Lemon Drop Long Drive
April 1 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us on April 1st at TeeHouse Complex in Cape Girardeau for the Lemon Drop Long Drive, a free event hosted by Walks With Nate!
All are welcome to attend. Doors open at 5 pm, and the event will begin at 5:30 pm.
The Lemon Drop Long Drive aims to raise awareness of testicular cancer, to help educate people on the importance of monthly exams for early detection and to raise money locally and nationally to support cancer patients and their families. To support local families, please donate to Walks With Nate. To support those affected nationally, please donate to the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation. To kick off the event, testicular cancer survivor Nate Gautier from Walks with Nate will recount his own battle with cancer and talk about the lessons he has learned along the way.
Why the name “Lemon Drop Long Drive?” Lemon drops can provide nausea relief for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatments.
Eight participants will compete in the long drive event:
- Joe Hobbs
- Ronnie Maxwell
- Seth Hudson
- Gunnar Knudtson
- Brian Gerau
- Tyson Schoolfield
- Karson King
- Kyle Thompson
In addition to the long drive competition, there will be a chipping contest for spectators ($5 entry fee per person). Awards will be given for the top fundraiser, the long drive champion, the long drive runner-up and the chipping contest winner. Food will be provided by Seis Amigos, BG’s Deli, Pulse Nutrition, Sushi by Angel, and Desserts by Shana Wilson. The event will be emceed by Greg Vaughn and powered by Media Leaf.
