Eat Early to Get Thin

It’s simple: if you want to lose weight, don’t eat late. People who eat a late dinner and/or snacks before bedtime not only have trouble dropping pounds, but can also end up gaining weight. This is because the energy from that food is released while we are asleep and our bodies have little use for it; as a result, it gets stored as fat cells.

Experts have also found that those who eat late tend to consume more calories and fast food than those who eat earlier in the evening. Additionally, eating before bedtime can effect the quality of your sleep.

So, to optimize your weight-loss, eat dinner at (surprise!) dinnertime – definitely before 8 pm. Eating three to four hours before turning in allows your body to use some of that fuel you’ve ingested, and also gives your digestive system time to calm down so you can get a good night’s sleep.
