Author John Izzo to Discuss “Stepping Up” at Business Health Summit

Area business leaders will have the opportunity to learn how they can create a workplace where people choose to step up and take ownership when bestselling author and business leadership expert John Izzo, PhD, delivers the keynote address at the sixth annual Business Health Summit.

This free event, sponsored by Saint Francis Medical Center’s Services to Business program, will take place Wednesday, September 18, from 8 am-2:30 pm at the Saint Francis Medical Conference Center.

Izzo is the author of five books, including his most recent effort, “Stepping Up: How Taking Responsibility Changes Everything.” The book offers inspiration and practical advice about how ordinary people can step up and make a difference in work, family, community or the world. “Stepping Up” is filled with moving stories about how ordinary people accomplished extraordinary feats.

A leading business leadership expert with international speaking experience, Izzo has devoted his career to showing leaders how to create workplaces that bring out the best in people. He has conducted pioneering work on employee engagement and helped leaders create exceptional corporate cultures for more than two decades.
