Color Dash 2021 5K and Fun Walk Provides Free Cancer Screenings
The Saint Francis Foundation hosted their third annual Color Dash 5K and Fun Walk on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Arena Park. The turnout for the 5K and one mile fun walk included 219 participants and 52 volunteers. Nearly $30,000 was raised this year to provide free cancer screenings to individuals in need throughout our region.
The overall female winner was Hannah Cooper, and the overall male winner was Abebe Gebremariam.
The results of the 19 and under female category were Jaclyn Sexauer in first place, Tressa Scheuerman in second place and Gracie Davis in third place. For the female 20-29 category, Katie Mathis won first place, Hannah Kroencke won second place and Jordan Keel won third place. In the 31-39 female category, Sara Schemel won first place, LeAnne Graham won second place and Sara Vise won third place. In the 40-49 female category, Dana Adams won first place, April Roth won second place and Crystal Britt won third place. In the 50-59 female category, Gina Landewe won first place, Sandy Ross won second place and Patty Schaefer won third place. In the 60 and over category, Donna Goodson won first place, Kathy Yount won second place and Tammy Beck won third place.
The results of the 19 and under male category were Isaac Hotop in first place, Cade Doza in second place and Colton Graham in third place. For the male 20-29 category, James Schaeffer won first place, Kameron Long won second place and Wang I. Chung won third place. In the 31-39 male category, Derek Bess won first place, Marcus LeGrand won second place and Aaron Powell won third place. In the 40-49 male category, Chad Brandon won first place, Donal Parker won second place and Jason McKee won third place. In the 50-59 male category, Roger Ellinger won first place. In the 60 and over category, Mitchell Gerber won first place, James West won second place and Tim Bender won third place.
