Saint Francis Medical Center is pleased to introduce Steven J. Joggerst, MD, as a Medical Partner and new interventional cardiologist at Cape Cardiology Group. This highly skilled physician joins a team of seven expert cardiologists and will be a part of Saint Francis’ new Heart Valve Center. In cooperation with Cleveland Clinic, the Heart Valve Center offers the most advanced treatments for patients with heart valve disease.
Dr. Joggerst, a St. Louis native, earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, and completed his residency in internal medicine and first fellowship in advanced heart failure/transplantation at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He later received fellowships in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology at Texas Heart Institute/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
He joins Cape Cardiology Group after serving as a chief fellow of cardiology at Texas Heart Institute/Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Joggerst has clinical experience in Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).
