Dr. Maryann Reese, president and chief executive officer of Saint Francis Healthcare System, has been recognized by Ingram’s Magazine, the leading business publication in Missouri and Kansas, among its annual “50 Missourians You Should Know.”
Ingram’s publishes the annual list in recognition of the “bankers, educators, lawyers, farmers, elected officials, artists, athletes, humanitarians and more” who “are all part of the rich fabric of life in the Show-Me State,” according to the article.
Reese’s 30-year healthcare career “has seen her rise from staff nurse into management roles, then executive positions” across the West and Pacific Northwest and home to Missouri. A family connection to medicine and a drive to care for others instilled early on “produced the president and CEO of the largest healthcare provider in southeast Missouri, with 306 patient beds and more than $2 billion in annual patient revenues.”
“Congratulations to Maryann for being included in Ingram’s Magazine’s ‘50 Missourians You Should Know,’” said Kevin Govero, Board Chair for Saint Francis. “Her dedication and commitment to the communities of Southeast Missouri have impacted countless families, especially during this time of heightened uncertainty. She works tirelessly to ensure the patients entrusted to the Healthcare System receive the best possible care. There is no higher calling than reuniting our patients with their loved ones. Thank you for all you and your team does.” For more from Ingram’s Magazine, visit ingrams.com.
