Saint Francis Hosts Training for Caregivers of Families Experiencing Infant Loss

Saint Francis Healthcare System is hosting upcoming training for caregivers of families that experience infant loss.

The SHARE Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Group at Saint Francis is hosting Power of Presence, a 2.5-hour training provided free of charge. The goal of this training is to provide caregivers the educational training on grief that families experience during the loss of a baby immediately before or after a birth, as well as the stress to the caregivers during this time. Power of Presence equips caregivers to offer the best support during such a devastating tragedy that impacts so many families and to help grieving families move forward in hope and healing.

Two sessions will be held November 5, 2019. The first session is from 9 – 11:30 am and the second session is from 1 – 3:30 pm. Both sessions will be in the Saint John of God Conference Room at Saint Francis Medical Center, Entrance 1 (map).

Funding for this project is provided in whole by The Missouri Foundation for Health.
