Support for Individuals and Families

Social Services at Saint Francis Medical Center works closely with patients and their family members to improve their overall well-being. Highly trained personnel from Social Services are a resource to patients for various needs, including:

  • Counseling from therapists
  • Education
  • Advocacy
  • Discharge planning
  • Support groups
  • Financial services referrals for help paying for healthcare
  • Community resources referrals

Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist you and your family with your emotional and spiritual needs. Prayers, blessings dedications and the sacrament of baptism can be arranged for infants at any time. If needed, pastoral counseling is also available to further help families cope during this stressful period.
