The Most Reverend Edward M. Rice, Bishop of the Springfield-Cape Girardeau Diocese, and Maryann Reese, President and CEO of Saint Francis Healthcare System, present the 2019 Sister Jane Mission Award to Pan Kimbel

At the Feast of Saint Francis Mass on October 4, the second annual Sister Jane Mission Award was given to Pam Kimbel. Pam was recognized for embodying the values of Saint Francis Healthcare System – compassion, stewardship, joy, integrity, faith, hope, excellence and dignity.

Pam joined the Saint Francis Family in 2011, first in Housekeeping and later in Valet Services. Serving mostly at Entrance 8, Pam has interacted with approximately 81,000 valet users, in addition to the many guests who do not use valet services.

In her nomination, Pam was noted for continually going above and beyond for her customers. As a valet attendant, she not only parks their vehicles but helps customers and their families in and out of vehicles. Pam forms relationships with her customers. She serves each customer with compassion, joy-giving faith and hope to all those in need. She is a true example of living the Saint Francis Mission.
