The Friends of Saint Francis Golf Tournament

The 2022 Friends of Saint Francis Golf Tournament was held on August 19 at the world-class Dalhousie Golf Club. The turnout for this four-person scramble included more than 200 golfers and more than 20 volunteers. More than $160,000 was raised this year for community efforts to feed hungry children both regionally and locally with donations to food banks and feeding programs including Clearwater Ministerial Alliance, Charleston Blue Jay Pantry, Tiger Bites Summer Feeding Program, Jefferson Backpack Program, Jackson R-2 Power Packs and more.

These efforts cover the costs for the Summer Tiger Bites Feeding Program, which provides groceries to Jefferson Elementary School families, and the backpack program during the school year.

Nearly 200 golfers and 48 volunteers turned out for the 2019 Friends of Saint Francis Golf Tournament on August 16. A total of $155,000 was raised this year for community efforts to feed hungry children in the area.

The tournament was located for the first time at the world-class Dalhousie Golf Club. The 4-person scramble featured skins, mulligans, hole-in-one prizes and other enhancers.
