Rahul Thampi, MD, joins Cape Diabetes and Endocrinology

Saint Francis Healthcare System is pleased to welcome Rahul Thampi, MD, endocrinologist, to Cape Diabetes and Endocrinology.

Thampi is an experienced endocrinologist specializing in endocrinology and diabetes who joins Saint Francis from Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York.

Thampi earned his medical degree from Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College in Kerala, India in 2011, and completed both his internal medicine internship in 2016, and his residency in 2018, at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Thampi completed his fellowship at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York in 2020.

Thampi is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the Endocrine Society.

Cape Diabetes and Endocrinology is a comprehensive center for treatment of all endocrine disorders. Affiliated with Saint Francis Medical Center, Cape Diabetes and Endocrinology provides access to specialty care for patients ages eighteen and older with complex disorders of the endocrine system.
