Dr Bean floated into the room on his knowledge. I could tell right away he was exceptionally gifted. After approximately two seconds he knew my cancer was treatable. Know, as I sit among the healthy, I can only thank Jero. He was and is my savior.
Dr. Bean is a compassionate and thoughtful physician. He takes time to listen, discuss and help guide. He’s an excellent physician and I highly recommend him.
While assigned as hospitalist for 3 days during my husband's recent hospitalization, Dr. Bean took great care to fully review my husband's 23 month history of 13 hospital in-patient stays for repeated urinary tract infections, most of which involved IV antibiotics begun in hospital followed by home IV treatments that I administered with periodic oversight by home health organizations. Dr. Bean performed this review with the objective of finding a heretofore undetermined root cause leading to a potential cessation of my husband's recurring illnesses d hospitalizations. As part of his research, he also took the time to speak with a doctor in a somewhat distant hospital surgical group to better understand the bladder resection performed there just prior to the commencement of these UTIs. He also requested inpatient consults by a urologist, infectious diseases specialist, and a nephrologist. He ordered a loopogram test, something not performed during any of the previous 13 hospital stays.
