Henao Uribe Joins Cape Medical Oncology

Saint Francis Healthcare System is pleased to welcome Alicia Henao Uribe, MD, medical oncologist and hematologist, to Cape Medical Oncology, a Saint Francis Medical Partner.

Henao Uribe has practiced medical oncology and hematology with an emphasis in lymphoma, myeloma and breast cancer for more than 20 years. She joins Saint Francis from the Clínica de Oncología Astorga in Medellín, Colombia, where she worked as a hematologist and medical oncologist for more than 15 years.

Henao Uribe earned her medical degree from the Universidad CES in Medellín in 1992. She completed an internal medicine residency at Boston University Medical Center in Boston in 1996, and a hematology and oncology fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami in 1999. Henao Uribe completed an additional bone marrow transplantation fellowship at the University of South Florida in Tampa in 2008.

Henao Uribe is board eligible in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.
