Kidd and Younghouse Join Saint Francis Board of Directors

Saint Francis Healthcare System welcomes two new members to the Saint Francis Healthcare System Board of Directors. Adam Kidd and Laura Younghouse joined the Board.

Adam Kidd is the president of Kidd Oil Co. He has served on the Saint Francis Health Development Board since 2015. He chairs the Payor Contracting Committee, serves on the Industrial Development Authority, Commerce Bank Southeast Region Board and La Croix Church Advisory Board. He and his wife, Kay, live in Cape Girardeau and have six children.

Laura Younghouse is the president of Midwest Energy, Inc. in Cape Girardeau. She owns and operates Midwest Energy, Inc dba Amerimart convenience stores, LL Investments, and All Star Transportation. Younghouse has been a member of the Saint Francis Health Development Board since 2002. She is a member of St. Vincent DePaul Parish in Cape Girardeau. She has served as a chair of the Parish’s Capital Campaign Committee and past School Board president. She served as a board member of Notre Dame Regional High School and also served as a Home and School Board past president and board member. Younghouse serves on the Missouri Petroleum Marketer’s Board and the Montgomery Bank Advisory Board. She is a member of the National Association of Convenience Stores, Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce and various other community organizations. She and her husband, Rob, live in Cape Girardeau and have two children.

The Saint Francis Healthcare System Board of Directors appoints all directors of the Medical Center. Directors serve for a term of three years. Prior to their appointment, directors must be approved by the Bishop of the Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau.
