Fazila Khan, MD

I had Dr. Fazila as my doctor and visited her this morning, very nice doctor. Good with patients by having a positive attitude and understanding with confidence. I actually do recommend this doctor , especially those introverts who are a little less talkative.

I’ve been to doctors for so many years now, and I used to always leave with a paper full of so much medical words and a head full of questions. I always would nod like I understood because I get so nervous of asking and later then get home and wonder, “Now, what did that mean?” Recently my visit with Dr. Fazila Khan felt so different from the otherrs. She let me tell the whole story, without interrupting or judging, but something similar happened in the past which is why I started feel a little bit scared whenever I would go to the doctors . I remember her drawing a little picture on a piece of paper and showed me what might be going on in my body. She explained what my medicine was for, how it related to my symptoms, and what side effects I should watch for. I finally felt like I could understand my own health. At one point, I was so worried that I apologized for asking another question. Dr. Khan smiled and made a little joke that the questions were keeping her drawing skills in practice. I laughed and felt somewhat relieved. It was a small moment, but it helped me relax enough to ask what I really wanted to know. Before I left, she asked me what still didn’t make sense. No doctor had ever asked me that so directly. I walked in feeling worried and walked out feeling heard, with answers I could actually remember. Dr. Khan is a kind physician and a wonderful teacher. After so many years of feeling lost at appointments, I’m grateful I found someone who takes the time to listen.

I had recently took my mother to an appointment to accompany her with Dr.Fazila Khan, and the experience we had was HIGHLY enough. The second we walked in, Dr. Khan was a physician who truly cared about her patients from her heart as if we were her own. To be honest with you guys what really stood out the most was how Dr. Fazila was so well-mannered and caring. Usually it feels a little annoying and anxious for my mom to speak to doctors regarding herself. Dr. Khan wasn’t only a great doctor for her knowledge, but she is also a really kind and loving doctor, which in my opinion each and every doctor should be like. Trust me if there were more doctors out there who actually listens to my mother’s concerns with genuine patience it would be best thing possible especially for all those introverts that can’t spill much information out of. I am now currently trying to make Dr. Khan my own family doctor. If you are looking for a physician who treats you with a lot of respect then I recommend you with my whole heart for you to see Dr. Fazila Khan.
