Pregnancy & Childbirth

At the Saint Francis Medical Center Family BirthPlace, we believe that offering the right care begins with the right information. We are here to help you through the entire process, from pregnancy to childbirth, to make sure you and your baby are healthy and safe.

From the earliest stages of pregnancy, it is important to follow prenatal care guidelines that help you eat right and get enough exercise. We will also explain the changes you and your baby will undergo throughout the first, second, and third trimesters. Finally, we’re here to help you understand what to expect during labor and delivery, including how to recognize early signs of labor.
