Having this high level of care in Cape Girardeau means that infants can receive the attention they need while staying close to their family and home, which is why so many mothers choose to deliver their babies at Saint Francis Medical Center.

BOE Women and Children’s Pavilion
The Family BirthPlace will be transforming during the Building on Excellence expansion and renovation project. We are creating more rooms for labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum care, and we are also adding an easily accessible triage unit.
Our expansion will provide private NICU patient rooms to support best practices in neonatology. These rooms will be fully equipped for multiple births and also provide opportunities for families to stay with their little ones 24 hours a day.
