Saint Francis Receives Achievement Through the 2022 Digital Health Most Wired Survey
The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) has released their coveted Digital Health Most Wired Survey results for the 2022 data collection period. Saint Francis received a Level 8 achievement for the Acute and Ambulatory survey selection.
The mission of the CHIME Digital Health Most Wired program is to elevate the health and healthcare of communities around the world through the optimal use of information technology. The annual survey is designed to identify and recognize healthcare organizations that exemplify best practices through their adoption, implementation, and use of information technology. Each participant receives a benchmarking report that can be used to assess their current health IT program and develop health IT-based strategies to raise the quality of their healthcare organizations and consequently the quality of care in the industry as a whole.
Among the more than 38,000 organizations surveyed by CHIME, Saint Francis ranked above peers in categories like analytics and data management, population health, infrastructure and patient engagement. The survey assessed the adoption, integration and impact of technologies in healthcare organizations at all stages of development, from early development to industry leading.
“We are proud to honor your team’s exceptional dedication to excellence in digital health,” said CHIME President and CEO Russell P. Branzell. “Your pioneering performance in the industry inspires other organizations by example. Patients in communities around the world receive better care when you drive change through digital transformation, as you have proven through your success in this rigorous program.”
The Digital Health Most Wired survey and recognition program serves as a comprehensive “Digital Health Check-up” for healthcare organizations across the world. As success in digital health increasingly determines the quality of patient care, the scope of the CHIME Digital Health Most Wired survey reflects the progress of leading healthcare providers as they reinvent healthcare for a new century.
“At Saint Francis, people come first, and we are committed to leveraging technology to drive transformational change in the way healthcare is delivered to our patients and community,” said Lori Sturgill, MOL, Chief Information Officer at Saint Francis. “Through the incredible implementation of technology solutions by our Information Technology team, along with the clinical and operational leaders committing to and embracing the provided IT solutions, we are able to provide stellar care to those who require our services and assist in the mitigation of health disparities across the region.
