I first met Dr. Richmond when he performed an emergency appendectomy for me several years ago. He later diagnosed me with breast cancer and has kept track of this with me. He is a skilled, compassionate, physician and I have complete trust in him.

Dr. Richmond performed a colon resection on my husband several years ago. He was EXCELLENT. Very thorough during the pre-op visit explaining everything. We knew nothing about the surgeons in Cape and trusted our gastroenterologist to recommend one. We hit the lottery with Dr. Richmond for sure. On my husband's last colonoscopy here in KY, the doctor performing it told my husband and myself that whoever did his resection did a wonderful job as he could hardly tell where it had been done. If either one of us needs surgery in the future, we will want to go to St. Francis and request Dr. Richmond.

He passed along great information prior to surgery. The surgery was flawless and the follow care was good.

I am very pleased with Dr. Richmond and his staff. He had a great bed side manner. But is very professional and really seems like a caring doctor. Which is very rare these days. I would recommend him to anyone who ask for a great doctor/surgeon
