Saint Francis can receive and deliver letters and emails to patients. Correspondence to patients is delivered daily by our volunteers. Emails to patients can be submitted online. Correspondence which arrives after a patient has been discharged will be forwarded to the patient’s home.

An ATM can be found just outside the Tuscan Sun Restaurant (Entrance 4, lower level)

• Tuscan Sun Restaurant – Offers a wide selection of meals and snacks to visitors. Located on the lower level of the Registration Center – Entrance 4.
• Fresh Healthy Café – Offering healthy fast-casual food with ample seating, as well as carry-out, delivery, online ordering and catering options. Specializing in pure smoothies, fresh squeezed juices, and nutritious meals such as protein bowls, wraps, salads, paninis and soups. Also offering gluten free, vegan, plant-based protein and dairy-free options. Fresh Healthy Café is located at Entrance 8, and is open Monday-Friday 7 am – 7 pm.
• The Ground-A-Bout at The Friends Café – Offers a full-service espresso bar and savory and sweet treats, including a full breakfast and lunch menu. Located at Entrance 1, open Monday – Friday 7 am-5 pm, Saturday 7 am-2 pm. Follow them on Facebook for specials.
• Vending Machines – Vending machines are available 24 hours a day in various locations throughout the Medical Center.

Yes! Inspire Boutique is located in the Tower lobby (Entrance 1), and offers a wide variety of merchandise, gifts, fresh custom or pre-made floral arrangements, and much more.

Notary service is available to patients free of charge. To arrange for this service, ask a member of your patient care team. Please note that proof of identification will be required.

From Missouri
Take Interstate 55 to exit 96 (Cape Girardeau), then go east on William Street / Route K.

From Illinois
Take Highway 146 to Highway 74 towards Cape Girardeau. Turn right onto Mt. Auburn Road. Turn right on William Street.

No. Free parking is available for patients and visitors in designated areas near each building on the Medical Center campus. If desired, a Public Safety Officer will escort you to your vehicle.

Special rates are available to Saint Francis patient family members at some local hotels.

Yes, medical records are available electronically through MyChart. Physical copies of records are also available – you may fill out the “Authorization for Disclosure” form prior to visiting the Medical Center to expedite the process.

Fitness Plus at Saint Francis Medical Center, Entrance 8, offers highly-trained exercise specialists, personal trainers, group exercise/aquatic instructors, dietitian, state-of-the-art equipment, amenities and resources. For those near the Dexter area, Fitness Plus Dexter is also available.

Saint Francis Healthcare System provides very good care to all patients, even if they cannot pay. If you cannot pay your medical bill(s), Saint Francis offers various options under our Financial Assistance Program.
